Semi-Precious Cabochon TRUNK SALE
Friday, May 30th, 3-8 p.m.

A cabochon is a half-round piece of stone, glass or other material that does not have a hole. For our purposes it's a beautiful focal piece to bead around. As you can see in the photo, Laura Garber has a great talent and love for beading around cabochons to create stunning pendants. Her class takes place the day after this show and since the store does not stock cabochons on a regular basis, this is your opportunity to see an huge selection of beautiful cabochons just in time for Laura's class! Whether you are in class or not, this show is worth your time. The selection is unique and diverse. There truly is a stone for everyone!

Lampwork and Vintage Glass TRUNK SALE

I first met Vic many years ago when his business was primarily about importing THE most beautiful vintage glass beads from Germany and the Czech Republic. Since that time his business has evolved, and although much of the vintage glass from that part of the world is no longer available, he still has quite a few special treasures to offer. His love of glass beads led to an interest in learning to make the beads himself. Like any challenge, Vic has succeeded with this new adventure and his lampwork glass beads are gorgeous! You can really see that he has combined his love for glass with his love of the sea in his many ocean inspired creations like this shell design. Please take the time to come and meet a very inspiring and talented artist - his beads are all one-of-a-kind and beautiful!

Bead Night is a special night each month for you “beadaholics” to get together and, well... bead. Share ideas, meet new friends and relax! Bead Night is the second Tuesday of every month and runs from 5-9 pm.

Creativity and girl talk! Bring snacks, wine and your creative spirit - leave relaxed, with beautiful jewelry and a smile. We can host your group of neighbors, friends or family most weekday evenings and some weekends. Plan your night out with 6 to 10 people for a 2 - 3 hour party. Your group will receive personal attention and assistance with creating necklaces, bracelets, or earrings. Our staff will take you through the process of design through construction and the best part - wearing your piece home!

Children's Bead Parties

Let The Place to Bead take the work out of your child's next party. In our private party room, our staff provides a fun and creative environment where each child creates and designs jewelry that is as unique as they are. The party goers will complete both a necklace and a bracelet from beads and charms that they choose themselves. The Place to Bead hosts parties for ages 8 and up. Thursdays are generally the best party days, but we will do our best to work with your schedule! For more information, give us a call.
